Diatribe (on taking money from old poor people)
Show deference/respect and NOT demand accountability to people/organizations who might not steal from poor old women so blatantly, but who still represent the same ideology? NO!
If a person takes money from a poor old woman (or man) in ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE on the basis of a lie, we'd still put that person in jail, EVEN IF the woman sincerely believes the lie.
We should not give a pass to all other ponzi schemes simply because Bernie Madoff got caught. They're all still based on LIES.
NOT SHOWING religions (or ponzi scheme creators) respect does not make me a dick. SHOWING them respect makes you an accomplice.
Re removal of "In God We Trust" from currency: Asking atheists to hold a note that says "In God We Trust" is like asking believers/creationists to hold a note that says "We Trust that God is Dead" or "In Data We Trust."
Creationist: "What does the Bible plainly say?"
