READING, WRITING

Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He addresses the question about inter-AREA (continental) commerce, and how gold became a common denominator for all societies:  In India, where gold was plentiful, merchants soon realized that its value was much greater in Mesopotamian or European societies; hence, the value of gold rose in India.  IOW, the people traded and the value of gold "equalized" throughout the worlds of commerce.

Read for 70 seconds in YOU ARE A WRITER by Jeff Goins.  He says I should take care in designing my "look" because it's my brand, my logo, my recognizable aspect.  Two photos, for example, could be 1)  of me when I first get up in the morning, and 2)  with heavy makeup (NOT) and a wild coiffeur.  Both would be of me.  But neither is the recognizable LOOK that I am seeking as an artist/writer.

Lucy & Charlie & the football syndrome is alive and well in my life.

Meanwhile, I'll try to make some more meaningful sense of my life, by doing this SLLLAVERS routine, and by taking care of my tenants (rat problem), and by shopping, and by going to Lisa's to help out with her kids.

I don't know, but MAYBE this is the day before D-Day.
