Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari. He says empires (evil or not) evolved into other empires, who conquered and obliterated earlier cultures. This went on, especially for the Middle East countries, until the British Empire relinquished its control over their colonialized countries.
Read for 70 seconds in YOU ARE A WRITER by Jeff Goins. He says I need to build my brand, my image, my audience, my whole persona through my OWN CHANNEL. I can't be borrowing other people's channels; I need my own.
Read for 30 minutes in A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama......... and I'll likely continue reading through the day.

Here's what I wrote on FB last night:
NEW MONTH'S RESOLUTIONS
1) Eat less
(I cut out all between-meal food.)
2) Exercise more
(I did my in-home exercise routine 4 days/week)
3) Lose ANOTHER 5 pounds by February 28
(I'm 10 pounds lighter than I was on January 1st.)
4) Read a new book
(began & am still reading A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama.)
These resolutions were simple & painless. I highly recommend this approach.
So here are my NEW MONTH'S RESOLUTIONS FOR
MARCH
:
1) Eat healthy - eat only fruits & vegetables for 2 meals/day.
2) Exercise more - Do in-home exercise routine 5 days/week.
3) Lose ANOTHER 5 pounds by March 31
4) Read a NEW book
5) Starting tomorrow!
So...... so far, I'm on target:
1) Brunch: fruit smoothie
2) Exercise routine: done
3) Lost 0.6 pounds since yesterday
4) Reading extra in A PROMISED LAND (ongoing); new book: THE SONGE OF ACHILLES by Madeline Miller (hope to start & finish by March 31)
