READING, WRITING

Read for 80 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He says BIOCHEMICAL MAKE-UP is what determines our level of happiness, not things or events.  We are naturally happy (relatively), or naturally gloomy (relatively), and although events can make a momentary change (higher or lower), we soon find our way back to our natural biochemical level of happiness.

Read for 80 seconds in A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama.  He recalls the weeks in late April/early May 2008 when their recovery plan began to show solid signs of economic health.  YAY!
