READING, WRITING

Read in THE BOOK OF AWAKENING by Mark Nepo, with George; discussed the "have" and "have not" scenarios of life.  I recalled filling a bowl of Vienna cherries with Peggy; she counselled me on how I would be more satisfied if I filled the entire bowl, rather than just quitting the job when I grew bored.

I'm being more conscientious about my sleep & meditation & exercise habits of late.  I go to sleep at 11 (latest) WITH TAPE, and WITH MASK, and wake up at 5 AM; 6 hours seem to fill the bill.
If I brush/floss/brush at night, and tape & mask and sleep for 6 hours..... I seem to have the energy & wakefulness I need during the day.
And, I don't have as much ache & pain as I do otherwise.  It's a function of how much sleep I get, and what/how much I eat.
