READING, WRITING
Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari. He says that in post-Civil War America, a black family was far less education and far poorer than a white family. The 13th & 14th Amendments to the US Constitution did not immediately balance the opportunities for all Americans. They could all be citizens, and could all vote. But it took another century (till 1960s) for the US Congress to act on the continued inequality in America.
This correction came about (and is still coming about) because the people have chosen it.

Yesterday was the first of 2 important days: David's 2nd surgery (which I understand went well). Today is the 2nd: the day the money begins.
I am imagining what today will be like - I'll go the whole day not hearing anything, I expect.
At least, Mr. Universe, you could have David and/or Jeannie contact me and tell me how he's doing.
