READING, WRITING
Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari. He says the Aztecs didn't understand why the Spanish visitors (!) were so obsessed with gold. And then he jumps to religion as a reason for the great bloody wars 300 years before America's discovery by the Spanish, and describes how the followers of Christ and Allah killed each other by the thousands. Tomorrow I'll find out why he's presented this segment of history in this way.
Read for 70 seconds in YOU ARE A WRITER by Jeff Goins. He says that you have to find a platform by which you can become something others NEED. And in earlier times, you had to leave that to chance. But today, you "create your own luck." Although it seems overwhelming (i.e., all the choices you have), it can be simplified. Tomorrow, I will find out how Jeff says I can simplify the overwhelming array of choices lying before me.
