Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He says that pre-Agricultural Revolution (12K BC - 8K BC), the hunter-gatherer bands of the earth were largely self-sustaining; there was likely very little bartering or exchange of services "then."  But I can tell that he's going to say that this gradually changed after the AR was underway.

Read for 70 seconds in YOU ARE A WRITER by Jeff Goins.  He says that if I'm bewildered and overwhelmed by "all this stuff,"  here's where I can start:  HELP PEOPLE.  So, that rings true to me.  If I have something of value I can give to help others, that's where I should start.
