Sorting out my thoughts about Dr. Pruitt's status:

Yesterday (Saturday), Victor Vargas called 2 times to report:

  • Dr. Pruitt is not well
  • confirmed that I had taken him to get his COVID & flu shots on Thursday
  • wondered if he had had a reaction to the shots
  • On Friday, John & Victor were there; John had taken Dr. Pt to see his cardiologist
  • On either Friday or Saturday, Victor says that Dr. P had trouble writing out checks for either (or both?) of them.
  • On Saturday, Victor was concerned enough that he called the cardiologist and/or an ambulance; the paramedics came, but would not transport Dr. P since he "passed the test" of cognition (e.g., name, birthdate, etc.).  Dr. P responded to Victor's actions with "How dare you!? - i.e., call an ambulance.
  • Victor is worried about Dr. P, and asked if I could come by to check on him today (Sunday).
I'm kind of scared to call Dr. P, but will do so at about 9am, to see what the situation is.
