SILENCE
Although I am MUCH less motivated to do my routine today, I pushed through it with thoughts of "being 70 with frozen joints" and the like.
Tried to silence my brain for 70 seconds; at least I counted to 70 while still in bed. (STILL (at rest), and STILL (not having moved on))
LLL

VISUALIZATION
196.4 Yesterday's weight
197.8 Today's weight
+1.4
I visualize myself weighing less tomorrow.
EXERCISE
Did my full base-70 routine for Sunday, August 16, 2020:
- ankle/wrist circles 70
- toe/finger stretches 70
- bicycle crunches 70
- shoulder rolls 70
- EPLEY MANOVEUR 1XR last night, 1XR this morning.
- squats 35
- push-ups 35
I'm doing my push-ups in spite of my right arm pain. I'm hoping this will help heal my arm of whatever it is that's hurting.
READING, WRITING
Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari. He explores the contradiction in our modern society between
1. more socialist leaning people (democrats) who want to raise taxes on everyone so as to ensure that everyone has health insurance,
and
2. more freedom-focused people (republicans) who want to choose how their money is spent (e.g., send their kids to good schools), and not be forced to support anyone else.
My note: Today's democrats want to provide health care for everyone, AND subsidize education for everyone in need. What's wrong with that??
Read for 70 seconds in YOU ARE A WRITER by Jeff Goins. He says that he wishes knowing the fact that writing is hard work, is a business, and is not going to happen unless you WORK..... a lot earlier than he came to know it.
So, I'm going to, once again, "report to work," starting today. Today and hopefully every day. Yesterday I fine-tuned/edited my Tee Shirt article for the last time, and then I "published" it on FaceBook. Now several people have read it, and some have given me a "thumb up" symbol in response. But no one, as far as I know, has critiqued it.
Well, it's a start of some kind. As I continue to read YOU ARE A WRITER, perhaps I'll come to know whether this was a good idea, or not. But for me, yesterday, it was the right write.
Hmmmmmm, "The RIGHT WRITE" - possibly the title for MY book about how to write. Some day, maybe.
