Read for 80 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He introduces today's monatra which he calls the "capitalist-consumerist ethic."  He brands it as the first "successful" religion, in that it's the first one the adherents are actually doing what the ethic demands:  The capitalists' creed is "INVEST," and the consumerists' creed is "BUY."

Read for 80 seconds in A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama.  He recalls dealing with the housing bubble when many lost homes (Arizona, Nevada), and those who didn't lost faith in the "American Dream."  BO's challenge was what his administration would do to address the illness of the $20 Trillion real estate market in the USA.  Bailouts?  Mortgage forgiveness?
