READING, WRITING

Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He says that from the time of Cyrus through today, empires have recognized the basic necessities of human beings, whether they're of the "us" or the "them."  They have all valued the responsibility of caring for children as a price to pay for the privilege of adulthood.

Agreed.

Read for 70 seconds in YOU ARE A WRITER by Jeff Goins.  He says I should establish my blog with someone like wordpress.com; but I've already established my blog with blogspot.com; it's free.  Maybe I'll do the next step (kerotay.com) sometime soon.  I don't see the need right now, though.

Read for 1 page in A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama.  He says that running against Hillary opened up some new insights into his campaign, Hillary's personality/vulnerabilities, and the way Americans wanted to be led & by whom, in government.  Black?  Female?  They were both dealing with the issues that come along with these possibilities.

Read for 70 seconds in WORKING WITH ONENESS by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee.  He says that we often perceive the planet earth as simply an orb spinning in space/the universe.  It is, however, much more than that; some even say it's a manifestation of God, or it's Mother Earth giving life to generations of beings, etc.  The energy emitted from the earth to us, and from us to each other, and to the earth,  is now more evident than ever.

Read for 70 seconds in THE PERSIAN BOY by Mary Renault, just for fun!  It's not so much fun, since Mary Renault has a difficult cumbersome style; her sentences must be read over to get the real gist of what she's saying.  I'll continue reading, however reluctantly.
