Read for 80 seconds in HOW TO BIOHACK YOUR BRAIN by Kristin Myeumyay.  She discusses various myths and facts about the brain as it relates to intellect, personality, and the like.
NOTE:  I was critical of her style at first, but now she's put me at ease with her easy style; she could, still, revise her first chapters and make them less academic-sounding (or something).
