SILENCE
Tried to silence my brain for 70 seconds; mild success through imagining fat numbers.

VISUALIZATION
194.6 Yesterday's weight
193.6 Today's weight
-1.0
I visualize weighing less tomorrow.
I visualize weighing less tomorrow, through:
- Eating only 2 meals every day: 1) Smoothie at 10am-11am, and 2) Dinner at 4pm-5pm.
- NOT eating anything between meals.
- Exercising every day
Reasons I'm AGAIN motivated are
- David's D-Day will likely happen sometime between now and APRIL 11, and I want to be in as good of physical (and therefore mental) shape as I can be.
- George tells me that if a person can stand on one foot for X seconds/minutes, then s/he will likely live longer.
- I feel better overall when I'm doing my exercises regularly
So, if I lose a pound every 1-2 days, I should be down to approx. 190 by April 11th.
Here's how I've done during the last 24 hours:
- Yesterday, I had only 2 meals: 1) smoothie & coffee at 10-11am, and 2) Steamed veggie dinner w/ at 4pm
- I had NOTHING between these meals.
- I exercised yesterday morning, and I exercised this morning (see below)
- It's April 7th, and I still weigh (199.0 - 5.4 ) 193.6

READING, WRITING
Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari. He begins a new, short chapter called "The Secret of Success" in which he summarizes how Sapiens have evolved over time from many smaller societies to one global society, which is generally of 2-3 religions and generally speaks English. He asks "Why is it so?" and says that we can't answer that definitively, but that we can look at two characteristics of Sapiens and speculate on why we are how we are today.
Read for 70 seconds in A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama. He recalls how, in early 2007, he again talked to his friend George about his financial position (he'd lost a ton of money because the economy was STILL acting on the charade of the RE boom, and he'd thought it would have corrected by then); BO focused on his campaign against McCain, and the Iraq war. BO was about to enter into debates w/McCain, but looks back on the economic ruin that was about to occur, and says that it was a significant reason for his campaign success.
Read for 70 seconds in WORKING WITH ONENESS by Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee. He says we must not let ego stand in the way of our work. Speed: The self is much faster than the ego.
Read for 70 seconds in THE RIGHTEOUS MIND by Jonathan Haidt. He says anthropologists and psychologists address the question of why people and societies act as they do. He notes that in earlier history, mankind was more sociocentric; today, we are more individualistic. He does not give a reason why this change occured.
