READING, WRITING

Read for 70 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He says in 1200-1300 Middle Eastern regions, RELIGION was displayed along with the other 2 great unifiers (money, empires).  I'm led to ask why, and I hope Harari will elaborate.

Read for 70 seconds in YOU ARE A WRITER by Jeff Goins.  He shares #2 and #3 samples of his emails to publishers/bloggers, who he hopes will read and appreciate and encourage his developmental writing.  #2 is about a past phase of his life which he shared with a friend, and they would co-write the article.  #3 is about initiating the idea that he could write a "guest blog" article for someone else who is already established as a blogger.

I get what his point is; now I have to execute.  Right?  Write?

Read for 1+ page in A PROMISED LAND by Barack Obama.  He recalls that he and his campaign staff (including Plouff) strategized that grass roots campaigning in "red" states (e.g., Idaho) would be their approach; and it worked!

Read for 70 seconds in WORKING WITH ONENESS by Llewelyn Vaughan-Lee.  He says "the more you give yourself to life, the more life responds."  And he adds that you should think of giving your life to God - if you need a "destination."  I'm wondering at this point, if Vaughan-Lee (and David) are trying to get me to join their Sufi movement, giving up my worldly goods and going with their "group."  I'm wondering how the Aconda Mine plays into this whole scenario.  And, as usual, I'm wondering if it will ever produce the resources that David and I can pass on to other worthy people.

Another thought about Aconda:  I might want to participate so that the rest of my life will be comfortable.  I might want to participate so that I can have an opportunity to do something right (career-wise) for at least once.  I might want to participate so that I can help shelter the income from excessive taxation.  I might want to participate so that I can work at something worthwhile with my best friend.

But might I simply want to participate because doing so would be part of the new movement (Sufi, Vaughan-Lee) I'm reading about.  Simply to be part of the group of People/Children of God, part of God's will/plan for today's planet Earth?

If I choose to NOT participate in the "Oneness Movement,"  I sense that it will happen without me.  (I like calling it the "Oneness Movement.")  OM --- OOOOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMM

Read for 1+ page in THE PERSIAN BOY by Mary Renault.  Maybe.
