After "blowing my morning" - I.e., mostly NOT doing my BIOHACKING my BRAIN, and totally bypassing my SLLLAVERS FOR THURSDAY...... I went in to HDA, expecting one of the following to happen: a) fired on the spot, b) Dr. P waiting by the computer to discuss my changing of his password without his prior approval, c) Dr. P wanting to limit my access to the computers.
But none of the above happened: he greeted me cheerily, and we prepared to go to Pomona, as usual. I didn't say a word about his call, nor did he..... all day! Gradually I became accustomed to things being "normal," and I speculated on why he would take this approach: I think it's cause he doesn't want to lose me, so he's learned that being nice is a better solution than to rant & scold & take drastic action. He knows I only have HDA's and his best interest, and he likely concluded that I have flaws, but he's willing to work with them. (HA!)
So.... on we go.
