20181008 SAVERS on MONDAY MORNING

SILENCE

Woke a bit later, and almost forgot to do silence, but I tried & did it, thinking of my "rotunda" which now has 10 doors (10 seconds)  and 6 levels (60 seconds).

Although I went "off my diet" (I ate more fattening than healthy food chez Frommer/Brinkley on Saturday night, I only gained back about 1 1/2 pounds.  We'll see what I weigh this morning.
_______________

I did my full 30 day routine this morning:

  1. ankle/wrist circles 60

  3. bicycle crunches 60
  4. inversion table 3 1-min sets

READING, WRITING

Read 60 seconds in SAPIENS.

The author observes that early Sapiens survived with a greater set of skills than modern man has; perhaps our brains are actually SMALLER, not larger, than the early foragers' brains, since

THEY had to know much more on an individual basis about how to survive, while
WE can specialize on a tiny fraction of knowledge/skills, while relying on others to provide for us.

The example that comes to my mind is:  An electrical engineer knows a TON more than early man about his/her field, but perhaps know almost nothing about farming, which provides the food that keeps him alive.
