READING, WRITING

Read 60 seconds in SAPIENS.

The author again asserts that the early sapiens foragers had superior diets to the later peasant Chinese who ate rice for almost every meal.  Foragers ate berries & mushrooms, rabbit and onions, etc.... and the next day's meals might have been "completely different" (although he does not specify what the next day's meals might have consisted of.

I suppose science has been able to determine MUCH more about early Sapiens and their lives than we knew for sure just a few decades ago.  But it still seems highly speculative, to me, for the author to go to these lengths.  His saving "loophole" is:  "might."

I won't be reading SAPIENS for the next few days, while I'm in Utah.  I'll leave the book home, and read whatever comes into my field on Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening.

******

I'm doing this next 60-day-goal step by step.  I'm motivated to do it, but I don't always feel the enthusiasm for it.  So when I don't feel it, I do it one step at a time.  This approach has gotten me through the first 2 days of the new 60-day-goal.

Keepin' on keepin' on.
