Author Yuval Noah Harari, again states in another way that we don't know much about the foragers, and then "concludes" that they must have done SOMEthing since they were there. When we discover in modern days an untouched and pristine sector of the earth, we must also know that foragers of 30K years ago were there before us.
How he knows this, I do not know. But he promises to discuss how the foragers "completely reshaped our ecology." Hmmmmm
Since so many of my friends & acquaintances have read and liked this book, I will give it more time, possibly to the end. 60 seconds a day is not much when there are 450 pages to read. But I have noticed that I embrace the concepts better, and remember them more readily, for having read only 2 or 3 paragraphs a day. The ideas have come up in conversation with Dr. Pruitt, and possibly with David Timpson and son Joe.
I was gratified to talk to son Joe this morning & to be so much on the same page with him regarding politics, religion and family matters (specifically the funeral of Kent Ellertson, my former father-in-law). Life is generally good for me, in spite of not knowing what the purpose of it is.
The love I have for family & a few friends cannot be destroyed by anyone.
