EXERCISE

Did my full 1+ (for push-ups only) routine for 11/3 on a Sunday:

  1. ankle/wrist circles 70
  2. toe/finger stretches 70
  3. bicycle crunches 70
  4. shoulder rolls 70
  5. inversion table 3 1-min sets
  6. squats 35
  7. push-ups 16
Every day from 11/1 through 11/15, I'll do a minimum of 15 push-ups every other day; on 11/16, I'll do 16, on 11/18, I'll do 18, on 11/20, I'll do 20, etc.

READING, WRITING

Read for 60 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He says romanticism has taken hold on our society, and it dictates that we must expand our experiences by traveling, trying new food, clothes, etc.  He's saying, I think, that all that is not really necessary for humans to be truly happy.  We''l see if that's what he says.

Although I've inched closer to saying "David's Deal is Dead" - I'm not quite there.  A good indication of how I'm moving in that direction is as follows:

On November 1, in the afternoon, I lay on my bed and thought about how my life might proceed for the remainder of my time here on Earth.  I considered how many older people have not taken care of their bodies, and are now paying a price for the neglect.

I considered that IRRESPECTIVE of David's Deal becoming a reality, or not....... I will continue to grow older.  My routine, in times past, has made me feel better physically, and therefore also emotionally and psychologically.  So, I resolved to begin again.

No matter that it was already afternoon..... I did my routine for that day (Friday, 11/1/2019).  Then Saturday morning, I did it the way I had done it "last time around."  And today (Sunday), I did it first thing again.

It includes doing several elements while still lying in bed, but immediately after waking up.  Then I get/got up and make/made my bed!  YES!!  Then I complete/completed my routine.

So all is good on this 3rd day of my newly re-established routine.  AND........

I weighed in on Friday at 195+, and now I'm down to 192+.  Not bad for only 3 days and a night in Hollywood at the Roosevelt Hotel.  (Paul Frommer and John Brinkley's 50th Anniversary GAY-la celebration, complete with wonderful food, drink and a luscious tiramisu cake.  I made efforts to limit my intake of the mouth-watering food.)
