READING, WRITING

Read for 60 seconds in SAPIENS by Yuval Noah Harari.  He says after the Agricultural Revolution (12K BC to 8K BC), and until approx 3.5 BC to 3.0 BC, cities were small because the human brain could not store information.  But then, in ancient Sumaria, someone developed a way to store information OUTSIDE the brain:  Writing.

Interesting way of characterizing the transition from "prehistoric" to "historic."

************

No time to write this morning - I'm leaving in an hour for OC to help Lisa out for 2 days.
